Filter or strain
Separate the coffee from the grounds with your selected brewer and collect it in a clean jug. Do not squeeze the grounds.
Step 6
Mix
Divide the cold concentrate, 150 grams cold water and 150 grams ice into portions that fit your shaker or lidded jar.
Step 7
Shake the drink
Shake this portion for 15 s, then strain the drink.
Why it mattersShaking with ice chills the coffee and builds a light foam. Look for a cold vessel and an even foamy head.
Step 8
Filter or strain
Strain into a serving vessel using your shaker’s built-in strainer or a separate drink strainer.
Step 9
Serve and taste
Serve the finished drink. Keep any unused cold-brew batch refrigerated.
